Hills Health Services

Part of the Check Me Out project is to understand the gaps in services in our area. We’ve attempted to locate services within a 5km radius of groups of suburbs in the hills area. This has created a list of services close to the hills. We’ve provided them below and created downloadable ‘health cheat sheets’ within these 5km radius too. What’s a cheat sheet? Simply, it’s a list of services so you don’t have to search. These may help streamline finding relevant services closest to you.

A few things to know about the cheat sheets

• They’re not exhaustive lists, nor are they lists of recommendations. We located the services, it’s up to you to decide whether they suit your needs.

• Depending on where you live in the 5km radius some additional services might have been omitted. For reference, along with our amazing MotHs group, these search engines we used to compile these lists:

• We’ve not included GPs: We’ve had many chats about this. As most people have an existing Dr we believe that using the Hot Doc app is the best way to find these.

• Due to time and financial constraints, our current cheat sheets are for individuals who identify as CIS Women, AFAB and/or Transgender and/or Non Binary. As more financial support becomes available we hope to provide fully gender-inclusive health information packs as part of the roadmap to support all mums of diverse genders.
