Enjoy a morning out in the spring air, bring your own picnic and your teddy and come to our belated Teddy-Bear's Picnic in celebration of National Children's Week. Children’s Week is a national celebration of children’s rights, talents and citizenship. Each year the theme of Children’s Week highlights a particular Children’s Right. The 2023 theme is "Children have the right to relax, play and to take part in activities they enjoy", drawn from Article 31 of the UNCRC which states: "Rest, play, culture, arts.

Our Teddy-Bear's picnic in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges Botanic Gardens will focus on kids and their carers feeling connected, safe and happy in our natural surroundings. We will have a face painter on hand and activities for you and your teddy to enjoy. 

*As this is an outdoor event , it may be necessary to cancel due to poor weather. We will announce any cancellation through our social media pages.
