It’s amazing what a lick of paint can do to a tired space.

We’re dragging this place out of the ‘90s! The old creamy yellow walls screamed, “paint us!” from the moment we got the keys. They sucked the light and soul out of the place. Now, thanks to an amazing collaboration, we have a bright, fresh space!

Firstly, a huge thank you must go to Pacquita Maher. Pacquita was instrumental in explaining our vision of the space and convincing Paint Spot Knox and Dulux to be involved in this project. It turns out that although they are corporate giants, they are still extremely community minded. We can’t thank them enough.

Pacquita has helped us in so many ways. Pacquita is an extraordinary artist in her own right. If you’ve ever visited San Churro Knox, you will have seen her gorgeous work, but she also does residential commissions too. Once again, I can’t stop saying thank you. You’re amazing.

To get this place painted required a great team effort: a volunteer team of preppers and the JLL Melbourne! They weren’t phased by the size of the job and got right to it. What a huge difference you have made to the space. We’ll remember you every time we enter and see the sun bounce off those bright walls.

So as you can see, we are racing to the finish! Still more to do but we are far closer to opening now. I can’t wait to invite you all in and show you around.
