What is the best thing about being a mum?
Hugs, lots of hugs. Also kids just make me smile. I like how they see the world. I feel so lucky to be a mum. Also sometimes exasperated, exhausted and a little overwhelmed. But having them all home and safely tucked up in bed is the best feeling ever.
What is the most challenging thing about being a mum?
Feeling like you’re always falling a little short of what is needed of you. And knowing that you can’t take away their pain.
What are you passionate about?
My family is my whole world, including my awesome hubby, four kids, two rescue bunnies and an exuberant miniature dachshund. I also love photography and my little veggie patch and feel like there are more books to read than time on this earth (although I will never stop trying).
What is something that you have done that you are proud of?
Bringing our four babes into this world and continually trying to guide them to be good people with kind hearts and minds. Also, I can still do a pretty good kinda almost handstand and can pick things up with my toes.
What is your favourite thing to do to unwind?
Walking in the forest, reading books, hanging with my family and friends, and photography.
Where is your favourite location to go to relax/have fun?
The beach, or Lake Como, Italy. Please can I go back to Lake Como?
