“Where there’s tea there’s hope”

MotHs will be forever grateful to the local businesses who support us. Koru Pantry is one of those businesses that we are shouting to the heavens about. Some wise person said that “ sometimes all you need is a good cup of tea”. I couldn’t agree with that more.. but I’ll add that if you follow this wise advice, it should be tea from Koru Pantry.

Koru Pantry has its roots in the value of connection, something that is also deeply rooted in MotH’s mission statement. For Koru Pantry to reach out and offer a donation from their fabulous tea packs is a really big deal. It gives us hope that we really can bring this hub to life.

Koru Pantry began with yoga students sharing a pot of chai and learning to create space to talk and grow. It's about appreciating the quiet moments and the celebratory ones. It's about nourishment, both of self and our communities, of reaching out, and reflecting.

Since then, Koru Pantry has grown and evolved, and today the team consists of three partners who each bring their own unique skill set (and sense of humour!) Regularly described by her 2 children as “the earth mother” or “hippy”, Kerry’s goal is to make a Koru Cottage (where our studio is based) as self sustainable as possible. Tash is our digital whizz - our Director of Marketing and E-commerce. As a mum of two energetic young children, her natural state is simultaneously hyper focused and sleep deprived! Finally Dayne can best be described as charismatic and cheeky - a real people person. He’s also the owner of the biggest and kindest heart in the Southern Hemisphere. He is our Sales and Relationships Director who spends  his time with our hospitality and corporate customers.
