I have lived in Australia for forty years and in the Dandenong Ranges for thirty years where I have raised my three children. I started Basket Weaving many years ago with an Indigenous Grandmother who has since passed away.

This led me to attending Reconciliation Day Weaving Workshops in Melbourne with Aunties from the Desert. I have woven with Native Fibres such as Cassurina and with Cordyline and Flax.

Weaving has become one of my favourite Art Forms. It has become something I can use to relax and is one of my Meditations in Action. Colour is also very important to me and this is reflected in this series of Spring Baskets.

Along with selling products I also teach soap and weaving workshops. Please follow the links to my Facebook pages to find out more about these events.
