Learn how to improve your smart phone photography and capture compelling portraits. In this 2-hour workshop, Rebecca will teach you how to take better control of your phone camera, sharing tips and tricks for nailing focus, adjusting exposure, harnessing light, improving compositions, capturing natural expressions and more. The workshop will be relaxed and fun, presented through discussion, slides and hands on exercises.

Rebecca Murray is a Photographic Artist and Educator based on Wurundjeri Country in The Dandenong Ranges, Australia. Rebecca’s work explores relationships between people and places over time, and considers connection, disconnection and belonging. She engages contemporary and alternative photographic processes in her practice.
Rebecca has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Photography) with distinction from RMIT, Melbourne. Her images have been published and collected, and she has exhibited in Australia and internationally. Rebecca has worked extensively with not-for-profit humanitarian, arts, cultural and community organisations, locally and abroad.
Rebecca came 2nd in the Australian Photography Awards (2021), and has been a finalist in the Head On Landscape Prize (2021), Head On Portrait Prize (2019), Australian Photography Awards (2020) and others. Rebecca has had two successful solo exhibitions in 2022, with a third exhibition on the horizon.
