Talks/presentations given by expert academics and practitioners from:
Monash University,
Department of Nutrition Dietetics & Food, and
other food networks in our community
Chat with sports and/or pediatric dietitians and local orchards or nurseries
Children's entertainment
The movie, Ratatouille will screen at 6.30 pm

Book into the sessions you are interested in, please don't book if you are a maybe, this will stop other people from attending, we know free is attractive, please be mindful of others. There will be space for walk-ups. As most of our presenters will have giveaways it is great for them to know how many beforehand.
You can come to as many sessions as you like.
Your information will go into a database for future communications, you can opt-out from all communications with the follow-up email. You won't be sent spam or junk it will be only from companies and organisations attending the event who are interested in you and your family's health, food, and the local economy.
If the weather is bad we will still screen the film - indoors, in 2 sittings, sitting A & B (COVID restrictions on numbers) and we will advise closer to the event if this is likely to happen. by email and on the Cockatoo website www.cockatootownship.com.au and on local Facebook groups.

There are three seating areas, all will have marked spaces for family groups to ensure social distancing is maintained. We have designated three areas to ensure that everyone gets a great view of the movie so please chose the area that suits your comfort and equipment. Seating will NOT be provided, you must bring your own.
There is food available on-site and you can pre-order picnic packs to collect at the event or you can BYO. This is an alcohol-free and smoke-free event and this will be strictly monitored. Anyone consuming alcohol will be asked to leave. Smoking will be in designated areas only. No domestic animals allowed, however assistance animals are welcome.

We will have a COVID safe plan in place according to the relevant Victorian Government settings at the time of the event. We ask that you follow the COVID safe directions on the day. Currently, as an attendee, you do not need to be vaccinated, all our volunteers and presenters will be.
