MotHs Pre & Post Natal Classes

Start your day with new mums and mums-to-be for a beautiful pilates class out in nature.

  • Location: Baynes Park, Baynes Park Road, Monbulk

  • Dates: Saturdays 19th - 9th April(4 weeks)

  • Time: 10:30am -11:30am

Mountain Pilates is thrilled to be running a 5 week pilates course starting March 5th for Mums of the Hills members & the Yarra Ranges community. The classes are designed for strength, flexibility & mobility in a safe & supported way. The nature of these classes are to:

  • support your body both pre & post natal;

  • be here to guide you & encourage deep, ‘abdominal safe’, exercises, &;

  • gather movement back into your body.

The best place ever to do a pilates class is in the park. These classes will run at Baynes Park, Monbulk surrounded by the natural bushland amongst native birds, a creek running near by......it's like nothing else. Once you do a class in the park you 'll be hooked. Should wet weather be forecast, we have access to the sheltered outdoor area of Monbulk Aquatic Centre besides Baynes Park. After your pilates classes, we highly recommend popping in for a drink and a chat at Monbulk Aquatic centre.

  • Jeanette is one of those people who just loves the work that she does. Teaching others how to move with ease and to find true posture, I strongly believe that personal mobility can and should be pain free, this is what drives me.

  • Mat

    Hat/sunnies

    Possibly sunscreen

    A chair if pre natal

    A pillow

    Light hand weights or canned tomatoes or water bottles

  • We understand the best laid can go to waste, especially during COVID. Please provide 24 hours if you are unable to attend. We have set up a Pre & Postnatal group to help fill spots that become available. Please help us to keep this a full group by alerting people of the spare spot.

Price: $10 per session
